House GOP budget to call for big changes to Medicare, Medicaid

Once again picking on the people least able to defend themselves. Giving money to insurance companies is not a solution, This is the exact opposite of a single payer system. Not only are they back-door repealing the health care act, they are feathering the insurance companies nest. What does it take to get a law to begin repealing congress members?

AT&T, Verizon, others, thought about dropping health plans

Talk about unexpected consequences!! MBA’s analysis makes economic sense, but would be a disastrous PR move. I could only imagine that the gov’t would force the corporate ‘personhood’ to provide coverage, since SCOTUS regards them as citizens.

On My Retirement from Political Activism

This appears to be a growing pattern. Many are so disillusioned with the current political system that they are giving in. It’s easy to see why, particularly if you can remember what has happened politically the past few years. The MSM and both political parties are having their way with their constituents and coupled with control of the voting machines there is little hope anything/anyone can bring about change. Vote out all incumbents and start enforcing term limits that will never be made law, it is the only solution that I can see. At some point in time maybe things will begin to change.
