White House Veto Threat Issued Over GOP Spending Bill
No surprise here, the GOP NEVER follows thru on their promises during negotiations. They beat the DEM’s down and then do whatever they want to based on the lowest common denominator achieved by the opposition. It should come as little surprise that the Pentagon is getting more money. Problem is and always has been that the common people do not have lobbyists… At this point the White House may say veto, but when push has come to shove so far the GOP has not given up anything. If you can’t depend on what has been negotiated in good faith, what good is this process??
